The 3rd week of school is quickly coming to an end. Wow.  The students have worked hard consistently for all three weeks. 


7th Graders are enjoying "Search for Safety" as the class novel.
We have started our vocabulary unit for the semester. A test over chapter 1 will be administered next week.
We are completing our short research project. The theme of the project is "What is the Value of Human Life." 7th graders researched the value of the human body.

8th Graders are enjoying their self-selected novel.

• Each student has started their self-paced vocabulary unit.
• Each student has received added support for homework in Social Studies and Science (reading and comprehension).
• We are still researching the value of human life and what adds value to life.

Great First Week

The first week of school was wonderful.  All students had their reading levels accessed and we immediately started working on goals for this semester.  Our second week will start our Vocabulary Unit and our Research Project. Please feel free to email me with any concerns or questions.
